Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/h3>\n

  1. Project Planning & Scheduling:<\/strong>\n
      \n
    • Develop, monitor, and update detailed project schedules using project management software (e.g.,MS Project, Primavera P6).<\/li>\n
    • Break down the project scope into detailed work packages for execution and ensure accurate scheduling.<\/li>\n
    • Prepare and manage the baseline schedule, ensuring alignment with project goals and deadlines.<\/li>\n
    • Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and contractors to identify critical activities and schedule changes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
    • Resource Allocation:<\/strong>\n
        \n
      • Ensure optimal resource allocation, including labour, materials, and equipment, while keeping track of their availability.<\/li>\n
      • Monitor the utilization of resources and adjust the plan in case of delays or shortages.<\/li>\n
      • Provide insights on manpower and equipment requirements to optimize costs and improve performance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
      • Progress Monitoring & Reporting:<\/strong>\n
          \n
        • Track the progress of the construction project on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.<\/li>\n
        • Prepare progress reports, highlighting any deviations from the plan and recommend corrective actions.<\/li>\n
        • Analyze the reasons for delays and proactively take steps to minimize them.<\/li>\n
        • Assist in preparing time-related reports for clients, contractors, and project stakeholders.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
        • Risk Management:<\/strong>\n
            \n
          • Identify potential risks and delays that may impact the project schedule.<\/li>\n
          • Implement mitigation plans and adjust schedules as necessary to reduce the impact of these risks.<\/li>\n
          • Recommend alternate approaches to prevent project delays and resource conflicts.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
          • Cost Control & Budget Management:<\/strong>\n
              \n
            • Coordinate with cost estimators and engineers to monitor project budgets.<\/li>\n
            • Ensure that the project is being executed within the allocated budget and time frame.<\/li>\n
            • Assist in forecasting project cash flows and financial performance in line with the project schedule.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
            • Documentation and Compliance:<\/strong>\n
                \n
              • Maintain all planning and scheduling documentation as per the company’s standards and local regulations.<\/li>\n
              • Ensure that all necessary approvals and permits are obtained and comply with local laws, codes, and standards.<\/li>\n
              • Ensure that all contractual requirements and deadlines are met as outlined in the project agreement.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
              • Coordination with Stakeholders:<\/strong>\n

                • Serve as the main point of contact for all scheduling-related queries with the project manager, clients, and contractors.<\/li>\n
                • Coordinate and attend regular meetings with project teams and clients to discuss progress, issues, and solutions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
                • Quality Assurance:<\/strong>\n
                    \n
                  • Ensure that quality control measures are integrated into the planning processes and schedules.<\/li>\n
                  • Report any quality-related issues affecting progress or schedule and collaborate with the site team to resolve them.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                    Skills & Qualifications:<\/strong><\/h3>\n
                      \n
                    • Education:<\/strong> Bachelor\u2019s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.<\/li>\n
                    • Experience:<\/strong> Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in planning and scheduling on construction sites.<\/li>\n
                    • Software Skills:<\/strong> Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and other project management software. Knowledge of AutoCAD and other construction tools is an advantage.<\/li>\n
                    • Knowledge of Local Regulations:<\/strong> Understanding of local construction laws, regulations, and safety standards.<\/li>\n
                    • Communication Skills:<\/strong> Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders including contractors, clients, and team members.<\/li>\n
                    • Analytical Skills:<\/strong> Strong ability to analyse data, identify trends, and propose corrective actions to keep the project on track.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                      Preferred Qualifications:<\/strong><\/h3>\n

                      • Certification in Project Management (PMP, PMI-SP) is a plus.<\/li>\n
