Safety Officer

Title: Safety Officer
Location: Project Sites
Reports to: Safety Manager / Project Manager
Industry: Infrastructure & Construction

Key Responsibilities:

1. Enforce and monitor compliance with approved safety policies and procedures.
2. Conduct regular site safety audits, hazard identification, and risk assessments.
3. Organize toolbox talks, safety inductions, and training programs for workers and staff.
4. Investigate incidents/accidents, prepare reports, and ensure corrective actions.
5. Monitor usage and condition of PPE, scaffolding, lifting equipment, and safety gear.
6. Maintain safety dashboards, near-miss logs, and statutory safety documentation.
7. Coordinate with project teams to incorporate safety in daily operations.
8. Support ISO/OHSAS audits and ensure zero deviation from safety norms.

Qualifications:

• Education: Degree/Diploma in Industrial Safety or NEBOSH/IOSH certified
• Experience: 3–6 years in construction site safety
